Confederation College

Confederation College has been serving the citizens of Northwestern Ontario since 1967 by meeting the educational needs of students in a catchment area of 550,000 square kilometers. Along with its main campus in Thunder Bay, Confederation College has eight regional campuses located in the communities of Dryden, Fort Frances, Kenora, Geraldton, Marathon, Red Lake, Sioux Lookout and Wawa. Confederation College delivers exceptional education and training to an average of 8,800 combined full and part-time students per year and currently has a total of 805 full and part-time employees.

It also features easy access to resources and support services for students interested in studying online and at a distance in Ontario, including direct links to live staff who can answer your questions about available programs and courses, help you register and other services.

Earths Angels

Earths Angels offers a full complement of Canadian Red Cross youth safety courses as well as first aid and CPR training to help workplaces comply with both federal and provincial/territorial occupational health and safety legislation. Our instructors have years of teaching experience with youth and adults, specializing in first aid and safety. We have two primary training locations: Kenora & Steinbach. We can train at our location or yours, or we can book a training facility for your group. We also host regular public classes at various locations throughout the area.

Eric Melillo, MP

Eric Melillo is the Member of Parliament for the riding of Kenora. He was elected in the 2019 general election. Eric is the Conservative Party’s Shadow Minister for Northern Affairs and FedNor. He previously served as Deputy Shadow Minister for Diversity, Inclusion, and Youth. Prior to entering politics, he worked as an Associate within a business consulting firm, and as a Policy Research Analyst for a non-partisan think tank. Eric also served as a political staffer while he completed his Bachelor of Arts in Economics at Lakehead University. Since being elected to Parliament, Eric has been working to deliver positive changes to northwestern Ontario. By standing up to support critical infrastructure projects, meaningful supports for Indigenous communities, and creating better economic opportunities for all- Eric has been a strong representative for the people of the Kenora riding. As part of a Conservative government, Eric will keep working to deliver for the north while supporting Canadian workers, restoring ethics to government, and securing Canada’s future.
