Confederation College has been serving the citizens of Northwestern Ontario since 1967 by meeting the educational needs of students in a catchment area of 550,000 square kilometers. Along with its main campus in Thunder Bay, Confederation College has eight regional campuses located in the communities of Dryden, Fort Frances, Kenora, Geraldton, Marathon, Red Lake, Sioux Lookout and Wawa. Confederation College delivers exceptional education and training to an average of 8,800 combined full and part-time students per year and currently has a total of 805 full and part-time employees.

We are a progressive and proud public school board that serves the communities of beautiful Northwestern Ontario. Students in a KPDSB school always come first and programming options are continually expanding to meet the needs of a diverse student population. Many of the programs offered are the first of their kind in an Ontario school, a testament to the innovation of our staff and their dedication to our students.

Seven Generations Education Institute encompasses the traditional education process by blending culture, tradition, information and technology. This philosophy provides opportunities to demonstrate our commitment to the values, needs, and learning styles of our communities. Our goal is to continue developing and implementing an education system that always takes into account the next Seven Generations. We will meet the needs of the present without compromising future generations and educate our people so they will succeed in the modern world.
