In addition to normal hours of operation, the CRA’s business enquiries telephone lines will be open on July 1, 2010 to answer HST-related questions. Businesses and self-employed individuals may call toll-free at 1-800-959-5525 between the hours of 9:15 a.m. (9:45 a.m. in Newfoundland and Labrador) to 8:00 p.m. local time. -------------------------
The Ministry of Revenue has forwarded the link below. It's a tax tip for small businesses with quarterly revenues up to $500,000. In a nut shell, small businesses are eligible for a payment of $300-$1000 (depending on quarterly revenues) to update their accounting and point-of-sale systems in response to HST Implementation.
