IMMEDIATE OPENING - CHAMBER MANAGER

Reports to: Chamber President/Board of Directors

30 Hrs per Week: Chamber of Commerce - 25 Hrs • KCA - 5 Hrs

 

Scope of Position:

The Chamber Manager, under the indirect supervision of the

President and Executive, performs the overall management and

coordination of Chamber activities. A broad range of administrative

and management knowledge and skill is required, including

fiscal management, budgeting, organizational and project planning,

public relations, community development, grant proposal

writing, and marketing. Communication and organizational skills

are essential to effectively work with the press, volunteers, community

groups and other agencies, and for the supervision of

summer student and project staff and volunteers. Computer and

Internet skills are essential.
