REPRESENTATION : The Chamber lobbies governments on behalf of businesses at all levels, civic, provincial and federal. We are also members of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce and North-western Ontario Associated Chamber of Commerce (NOACC). The Chamber also has a member sitting on the Economic Development Committee, Harbourtown BIZ, Harbourtown Centre, Health Professional Recruitment & Retention, Keewatin BIZ and Tourism Committees

BUSINESS DIRECTORY LISTING: Every member is listed in our Business Directory, which is printed each spring. Listings are both alphabetical and by categories. Directories are distributed to all members as well available at the Chamber office, special events and various locations throughout the district.

ADVERTISING DISCOUNTS: 89.5 The Lake will provide $300 worth of free advertising to new members only. (Sponsored by the KDCC.  Some restrictions may apply.) 

MEMBER TO MEMBER DISCOUNT PROGRAM: In keeping with our “members helping members” philosophy, this program provides discounts to all fellow Chamber members on the participating businesses products and/or services when they show their Chamber benefit card prior to purchase. This program is designed to recognize and reward fellow Chamber businesses in the community and keep businesses thriving in the Kenora area. Please call the Chamber office to join the program. 

BROADCAST EMAILS: Get your message out by having it forwarded to over 200 KDCC Members. 

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT/EDUCATION WORKSHOPS: KDCC periodically hosts workshops and information sessions for members only. 

HOME & LEISURE SHOW: KDCC Members receive a discounted booth price for this annual event. 

MEMBERSHIP MIXERS: Chamber Mixers are held periodically throughout the year to allow our members the opportunity to network and connect. 

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING & BUSINESS AWARDS BANQUET: Any member of the Chamber of Commerce or their employees is eligible to run for a seat on the Board of Directors. 

MONTHLY BOARD MEETINGS: Board of Directors Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month at the Super 8 and start at 5:00pm. All members are welcome to attend.
